High-Performance Austenitic Grade · Excellent Corrosion & Marine Resistance · Molybdenum-Enriched · Global Industrial Supply
316/316L/316Ti stainless steel plates belong to the austenitic stainless steel family, known for their excellent corrosion resistance, especially in chloride and marine environments. These grades are enriched with molybdenum, which significantly improves resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. 316 is the standard grade, 316L contains lower carbon for better weldability, and 316Ti is stabilized with titanium to enhance resistance against intergranular corrosion at high temperatures.
The effectiveness of 316/316L/316Ti stainless steel plates lies in their ability to form a protective chromium oxide layer on the surface, acting as a shield against moisture and chemicals.
Each alloying element is carefully balanced to ensure peak performance in highly corrosive and marine environments.
